Within the past year, technology itself has made leaps and bounds in it’s growth, and Apple (sometimes just known as mac) has been at the head of the pack so to speak with it’s new available products. 5 months ago, Apple dropped the “computers” from it’s logo name, leaving some to suspect that the major branch is going to expand it’s marketing interests. Apple has also settled it’s longtime standing dispute with Beatles music publisher Apple Corp.
Technologically, Apple has introduced the Apple T.v., an iTunes set-box top and has announced that they are going to further the company by beginning to produce and research into making phones. The most popular phone on the market to date belongs to apple, the iPhone being a huge leap into phone technology with more gigabytes of internet capability, WiFi connections and apps, or mini programs such as social networking sites, data tracking and planning and games on the phone. Apple dropping the “computer” part of it’s logo was a major change for it’s company, as it has been a computer company for decades. The company claims to be venturing into the “digital lifestyle” market, offering new products such as the iPod, IPod na-no, IPod Touch, and IPod home home stereo speaker station.
The newest Apple product is the iPad, and the iPad 2. This little bad boy is a slim, sleek-looking pad or tablet, boasting of wifi connections, apps, computer programs and e-reading capabilities. This awesome gadget offers useful apps, from social media networks to entertainment media from www.direct.tv. These have set the standard for the market, and many progressive marketing CEO’s claim the within the next 5-10 years the Ipad will make the laptop computers obsolete. Apple is aiming to beat out their Japanese competitors with sleeker, cleaner, more efficient design and faster gigabytes and more memory available for the hard-drives of their products.
